And so I will share
A post written only in
Lines 5-7-5
Haiku are meant to
Evoke an image: Thunder
Clapping in darkness
Simplicity. All
Excess has been removed. Cut.
Leaving clarity.
My kids treat each day
as a gift. When night comes they
Hang on til the end.
Rest. The less beloved
gift each day brings. Sweet silence.
Another day comes.
Can you fit a thought
Into haiku? The image
may not want to fit.
